This free annual conference is dedicated to addressing barriers to career progression in the chemical sciences. If you are an early career researcher, postdoctoral researcher or final-year PhD student, this event is for you.We’re delighted to announce that Professor Hélène Langevin-Joliot, daughter of the Joliot-Curies, after whom the conference is named, will open the conference. The programme that follows includes workshops, one-to-one consultations, and keynote speeches from world-renowned experts, with the aim of:

  • Increasing your confidence when presenting, networking and raising your public profile
  • Raising your aspirations as a young chemist
  • Addressing barriers to your career progression
  • Promoting diversity and an inclusive working culture for all
