Upcoming WISE events:

  • The WISE knowledge sharing breakfast: Women in Technology, The Employment Value Proposition, on Thursday 3rd July, from 8:30 – 10.30 AM.
  • The Computer Weekly – TOP 25 most influential women in UK IT event, Thursday 3rd July, from 2.30 PM – with cocktail reception at 6:00 PM.


This short briefing session will cover:

  • What a compelling employment value proposition looks like for highly qualified women in technology
  • The key career drivers for senior women in technology and how they differ from men
  • How employer brand perception differs between men and women
  • The 2014/2015 WIT benchmarking survey and how you can participate.

The WISE event will include a number of other speakers presenting some of the work being done to encourage women to consider a career in IT as well as the WISE awards. We expect some lively debate and a great networking opportunity. At Computer Weekly’s third annual event for women in IT, you will hear from women and men who are making a difference to the digital economy and how they have been successful in recruiting skills from a more diverse base onto their teams so far.
