Making History- Women in Science at Queen Mary

WISE take a look back at the QM Women’s project from 2007, marking the achievements and contributions of Queen Mary’s inspirational staff and students. This project aimed to explore the dilemmas, challenges and opportunities facing different generations of women at QM. This lunchtime event will include an introduction to the project and an examination of some of the archive materials. We will have an introduction to the project from the project chair Professor Virginia Davis, followed by a participant in the project’s Featured Women section, Dr Carol Rivas (Blizard Institute Research Fellow), in conversation with QMUL’s archivist.
